This website aims to keep ourselves and the LGBT community safe in a volatile and changing world. Whether you are looking for assistance in the country you live or traveling or relocating to, we do our best to provide up-to-date advice on not only the nightlife and interesting places to visit and stay, and most importantly, the security, legal status, and healthcare accessibility in every country that we can source data on - We especially seek to provide a focus on available HIV medical services and other LGBT care.
We aim to keep our global community up to date and create awareness about the safety and security of persecuted LGBTQ+ people who face discrimination, violence, torture, imprisonment, and even death because of their sexual orientation. We focus first on the right to live and love freely before other concerns. We filter out gossip or sensationalist stories that, while important in progressive countries, can inadvertently smother the deadly societal and government-led crackdowns against LGBTQ+ people that are increasing at an alarming rate in countries and territories around the world. We do allow our Breaking News page to stream more mainstream media stories, while keeping the major breaking news pinned to the top.
To understand the full impact of discrimination, we talk to local LGBTQ+ people about their experiences. Here are a couple of examples from early 2026: In Tunisia, a popular destination which happily accepts money from gay tourists, police are actively hunting down members of the local community, searching their phones, and handing out sentences of up to three years in prison just because of their suspected LGBTQ+ status. Our source recently served six months in prison in Tunisia for the crime of having a popular gay chat app on his phone. We verified this report in February 2026. In Senegal, on March 11th, 2026, a new law was passed with overwhelming support to double the prison sentence for same-sex acts from five to ten years. Our Senegalese source is terrified of exposure and arrest, and we are working to help him find safety.
If you are planning a trip and need the best up-to-date information, we are here to help and will soon be offering guides with both written articles and video guides to as many countries as possible. I'm sure you can understand that with over 200 countries and territories, it is impossible to independently verify everything, so we invite LGBTQ+ people from across the world who are willing to share their stories. In video or text, help us help you to get your word out to the international LGBTQ+ community.
These are our goals and this is our mission and until we have covered every single country and territory, we will share what knowledge we have while also using tough AI filters to strip away the smoke and mirrors of sensationalism and gossip and bypass the noise to bring you the hidden, vital news that our community deserves.
